Iraq

Totally seven irrigation and land reclamation projects, pumping stations, road projects and highway/bridges projects have successfully been completed. Total value of the contracts performed in Iraq is US $228 million.

When the projects were abandoned due to the Gulf crisis, US $220 million of these works were completed.

Saudi Arabia

BAYTUR in late 80’s, has completed a Heavy Equipment Laboratory Building in Dhahran University of Petroleum and Minerals and a Mass Housing project in Al Jouf. Total value of the works executed in this country is US $36 million.

In 2008 BAYTUR decided to enter the Saudi contruction market again and has recently been registered in Alkhobar by establishing a new company and branch directorate.

Libya

BAYTUR has undertaken and handedover many projects in Libya, since 1979. Various road constructions, treatment plants, infrastructural and housing projects have been completed in the country. The biggest project completed by Baytur is "Al-Jufrah Administration Center" with 40 000 sqm. covered area to a very high quality and standard. In this complex, a congress hall with 10 000 sqm. covered area also takes place. Total value of the contracts undertaken in Libya is US $619 million.

Commonwealth of Independent States (C.I.S.)

BAYTUR is the first Turkish contractor which undertook a project in the former U.S.S.R. The first two projects undertaken were "Pitsunda Hotel - Health Center Complex" with 750 beds, and "Makhachkala Hotel & Health Center Complex" with 250 beds. Total contract price of these two projects is US $ 79.5 million. Both projects were commenced in 1988 and completed in August 1990. By completing these projects before the time for completion prescribed in the contract, BAYTUR has gained the title of not only the first Turkish contractor undertaking a project in the former U.S.S.R., but also the first contractor which commissioned a project in that country.

Among the projects completed, following projects can be mentioned:

In the year 1994, BAYTUR commissioned a "194 bed - Maternity Hospital" in Moscow (US $ 23.700.000) and "Durnewo Military Housing Project" with 1326 units including all housing units, social buildings and infrastructural works (US $ 106.100.000).

In 1995, another Military Housing Project was completed in Budjonnowsk with 1003 units, including housing units, social buildings and infrastructural works (US $ 61.500.000).

In the year 1996 Baytur has completed the reconstruction, completion and equipping of existing 600 beds "Krasnagorsk Military Hospital" located in Krasnagorsk district of Moscow Region (US $ 41.100.000), Baytur has also completed the "Construction of Tank Farms for Crude Oil and Diesel Oil with the Buildings, Structures & Engineering Networks for Angarsk Petrochemical Company situated in Irkutsk Region ( US$ 43.400.000).

In the year 1998 Baytur has completed two projects in Moscow, with a total contract price of US$ 43.555.000. These projects are "Burdenko Neurosurgery Hospital" and "Technostroyexport Administration Building Construction".

In 2004 and 2005, BAYTUR has performed in two separate contracts 75 luxury villas in Moscow. ( US$ 43.700.000).

In 2008, BAYTUR has won the turn-key tender of the prestigious "Moscow City Multifunctional Transport Terminal Complex" between international competitors with a contract value of US$121 mio.

In Uzbekistan, which was a new market for the company, Baytur has successfully completed the "Tashkent Airport Rehabilitation Project",on JV basis in 18 months. The Contract amount of the project was US $ 34.400.000.

Some other projects undertaken in the C.I.S. countries by Baytur, is in Azerbaijan , which was also a new market for the company. Baytur has completed the construction of the "Operation Center of Azercell" and seven-star quality "Silverstar Office Restoration" in Baku in 2002 and 2003.

All projects mentioned above are turn-key projects. Architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical designs of these projects have been performed by BAYTUR and design offices working for BAYTUR.
