
“The Palm Jumeirah Shorline Apartments” Project, 10 – 13 storey shoreline apartments on world famous ‘Palm Jumeirah Island’, has been completed with contract value of US$ 225.9 mio.
“Gold & Silver Towers” Project is almost complete with contract value of US$ 101 mio. in Dubai. Au-Gold Tower is a state of the art office development extending to 48.000 m2 consisting of 40 storey rectangular tower with curvilinear façades in ‘gold’ coloured curtain walling with height of 160 m. Ag-Silver Tower is a mirror image of Au-Gold Tower but finished in silver coloured curtain walling.
Ongoing “Burj Dubai Development Plots 12 & 13” Project with contract value of US$ 220 mio., is part of ‘The Burj Dubai Development’ to be constructed on the site located to the South of Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, U.A.E. EMAAR is the Employer of the project. The project consists of two iconic towers on the Plots 12 & 13 site that will be situated on the north western corner of the Burj Dubai development.
“The Museum of Islamic Arts” in Doha has been completed with contract value of US$ 176,6 mio. including 6B & 6C Landscaping Package. With its unique design, the project already became one of the Doha’s Landmarks. The Project had “Concrete Quality Award” given by ‘Concrete Industry Board’.
Construction of “Handasah Complex Phase 1 & 2” in Doha was completed with contract value of US$ 63,3 mio. The Client of the Project is H. E. Shk. Dr. Fahd Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
The Construction of “Al-Reem Tower” in Doha Centrum has been completed with contract value of US$ 10 mio. The Client of the Project is again H. E. Shk. Dr. Fahd Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
Baytur has undertaken one of the most prestigious projects of the world in Qatar which has a total contract value of US$ 717,4 mio., as main contractor in 2006.
“Qatar Education City, Convention Center” Project, which will have six storeys plus a basement, will be about 250 meters long and 110 meters wide. Of the total construction area of 150.000 square meters, some 60.000 will be made of reinforced concrete and 90.000 square meters from structural steel.
The center will house a 2.500 seat auditorium, a 500 seat theatre, and a 4000 seat multi-purpose hall. In addition, it will have break-out rooms, and smaller meeting rooms. The center will host exhibitions, conferences and music and art festivals.
BAYTUR in late 80’s, has completed a Heavy Equipment Laboratory Building in Dhahran University of Petroleum and Minerals and a Mass Housing project in Al Jouf. Total value of the works executed in this country is US $36 million.
In 2008 BAYTUR decided to enter the Saudi contruction market again and has recently been registered in Alkhobar by establishing a new company and branch directorate.
Baytur has been recently awarded “King Khaled University Complex in Abha” Project with contract value of US$ 502,5 mio. The project consists of the construction of 7 different buildings in University Campus. Teaching Hospital, College of Medicine, College of Medical Science, College of Dentistry, College of Pharmacy, Shared Classrooms, and Shared Lecture Halls will be constructed throughout the project.
Baytur has been operating in Libya since 1979. Major projects completed in this country are “Misurata Sawage Treatment Project (US$ 255,6 mio)”, “Al-Jufrah Administration Buildings Complex (US$ 110 mio.)”, “Tobruk Sewage Treatment Project (US$ 54,4 mio.)”, “Aziziye Farm Houses Complex (US$ 52,1 mio.)”, “Jufra 525 House Setllement Complex (US$ 32,7 mio.)”. Total value of contracts undertaken and executed in Libya is US$ 571,5 mio.
Totally seven irrigation and land reclamation projects, pumping stations, road projects and highway/bridges projects have successfully been completed. Total value of the contracts performed in Iraq is US $228 million.
When the projects were abandoned due to the Gulf crisis, US $220 million of these works were completed.
BAYTUR is the first Turkish contractor which undertook a project in the former U.S.S.R. The first two projects undertaken were "Pitsunda Hotel - Health Center Complex" with 750 beds, and "Makhachkala Hotel & Health Center Complex" with 250 beds. Total contract price of these two projects is US $ 79.5 million.
Following these two project, Baytur completed “Durnewo Military Settlement Complex” (US$ 106 mio.) comprizing of 1326 housing units and “Budjonnowsk Military Settlement Complex” (US$ 61.5 mio.) with 1003 housing units within a duration of two years, for military personnel returning from East Germany.
The other major contracts completed by Baytur in Russian Federation are; “194 Bed Maternity Hospital”, “Krasnagorsk Military Hospital”, “Burdenko Neurosurgery Hospital”, and “Technostrojexport Office Building” all in Moscow, as well as “Rewamping of Petrocoke Plant” and “Construction of Tank Farms for Angarsk Refinary” in Irkutsk Region.
Baytur was completed “Construction of 75 Villas” and “Agalarov Real Estate Villas” with a total contract value of US$ 43,6 mio. in 2007. Both Projects were located in Moscow.
In early 2008, Baytur has been awarded “Moscow City Transport Terminal” Project with a contract value of US$ 121 mio. The employer of the project is CiTer Invest B.V. The project includes 6 basement levels and three towers. Tower 1 will be 33 storey office building, Tower 2 will be 42 storey office building and Tower 3 will be 22 storey hotel. Total construction area of the project is 253.000 m2.
Total value of the works executed in this Russian Federation is US$ 442,7 mio.
Baytur has been completed “Kaskad 197 Housing” Project (US$ 24,7 mio.), “300 Bed Children Rehabilitation Hospital” Project (US$ 49,6 mio.), “Astana Neurology Hospital” Project (US$ 50,9 mio.) and “Astana Shopping Mall” Project (US$ 35,6 mio.) in Astana Kazakhstan.
The Construction of “Azercell Baku Operations Center” has been completed in 2002 with a contract value of US$ 9,5 mio. “Restoration of Silver Star Office Building” Project, has been completed in 2004 with a contract value of US$ 13,7 mio.
Baytur has executed “Tashkent Airport Rehabilitation” Project with a contract value of US$ 34,3 mio.
